The torch has been passed to the second generation of Colby's, with Catie as President and CEO of Colby Resources. Catie is proud to have a Women Owned Business and takes immense pride in running, supporting and contributing to the awe-inspiring diverse team! She is a member of several business organizations throughout Dallas and Houston and enjoys contributing her time and meeting new people! She obtained her bachelors degree from Texas Women's University. Fun fact: Catie has played the cello for 20+ years' and has two dachshunds that roost at home.
Jennifer Colby, co-founder and consultant of Colby Resources created a simple mission statement for this growing staffing company – There is a place in this world for everyone and it’s our job to find it! True then and true now. After many years of recruiting, Jennifer now assists in a consultative role to the company and its President, Catie Colby. Fun Fact: Won Best in Show for Needlepoint at the 2017 Texas State Fair. She is preparing for a pilgrimage walk in Spain, the Camino de Santiago. Life is good!
Jim has been involved in the recruiting and staffing business for over thirty years. As a co-founder of Colby Resources since its inception in 2002. He has participated in all facets of the recruiting business. Currently, he is primarily responsible for the acquisition of viable candidates. Fun Fact: Jim plays the piano and enjoys hiking and going to the mountains every chance he gets.
Alethea White is a senior recruiter with solid industry experience. She is very knowledgeable with placements within various industries such as: Administrative, CSR Call Center, Banking, Mortgage, Accounting, Legal Claims Support and Human Resources. If you’re looking for a solid recruiter who understands that a cultural match is just as important as a skill match and will get the job done right the first time, Alethea White is the right choice for your organization! Fun Fact: She has been known to play the drums for her church choir. She enjoys traveling to exotic places and spending time with family and friends.
Amanda Hamlett graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2016 where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. After graduation, she worked in New York City as a Talent Coordinator, giving her a great foundation for communicating with clients and candidates and an edge in the staffing industry. She prides herself in quick and honest communication and truly enjoys playing match maker between candidate and client. Fun Fact: Amanda has two dogs named after chocolate bars, Snickers and Crunch. She also enjoys spending time with her family, going to OSU football games, fishing, and photography.
